Effective from October 2026. patikagyor.hu processes as little data as possible: there is no registration, no newsletter, no visitor analytics and no advertising. This English page is a translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy the Hungarian version prevails.

1. Server logs
As with every website, the hosting server automatically records the visitor’s IP address, the time of the visit, the page opened and the browser type. We process this data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to keep the website secure and to fix errors, for as long as the hosting provider’s logging policy requires. We do not use this data to identify visitors. An answer to the “Was this page helpful?” question also appears only as such a log entry, no separate personal data is stored.

2. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us, we use your name, e-mail address and message only to reply and to correct the reported error, on the basis of legitimate interest. We keep e-mails for no more than one year, then delete them.
3. Location
When you tap “Nearest open pharmacy”, your browser asks for permission to access your location. The distance is calculated only on your own device: your location is not sent to our server and is not stored. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser settings.
4. Google Maps and directions
The map of the on-duty pharmacy only loads when you tap “Show map”. Your browser then connects directly to Google’s servers, so Google (Google Ireland Limited) receives data such as your IP address and may set cookies. The “Directions” buttons open Google Maps. These data processing operations are governed by Google’s privacy policy.
5. Cookies
This website does not use cookies of its own and does not measure visitor statistics. Cookies may only be set by the Google map, which loads on request (see section 4).
6. Your rights
You may request information about your data, its correction, deletion or restriction of processing and you may object to the processing. Please send your request to szia@patikagyor.hu, we will reply within one month at the latest.
You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., www.naih.hu, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or turn to a court.
